28 students Bag first class in Bells university 8th Convocation Ceremony

1>>The Vice-Chancellor of Bells University of Technology, Prof.
Oludele Ojediran, has said that 28 of the 334 graduating
students of the institution will be awarded First Class
degrees in various disciplines next week.
The VC made this known recently while briefing journalists
about the university’s forthcoming 8th Convocation
Ceremony in Ota, Ogun State.
Ojediran said that a total of 122 students would be awarded
first degrees in the Second Class Upper category, while 108
others would receive Second Class Lower degrees. Only 76
students will receive degrees in the Third Class category.

He noted that the institution had introduced new courses
and secured their approval by the National Universities
Commission.
Also, he said the institution had set in motion the process of
implementing a conversion programme in order to avail the
holders of the Higher National Diploma, who were affected
by the B.Sc/HND dichotomy, an opportunity to upgrade their
certificates to B.Sc degree status.
In order to boost food production in the country, he said the
institution had concluded plans to establish a Centre for
Agricultural Technology.
